About Rev78

With a catalogue of songs that pack enough timeless anthemic rock-sounds to have Brandon Flowers foaming at the mouth and Matthew Bellamy wondering where he went wrong, Rev78 burst on to the UK music scene in 2011 with the release of their retro-infused debut album “Boy In The Blitz”.

Taking their vinyl-referencing name from “shellac records”, the band was formed by North London residents Jim Laff on bass and Dave Gritzman on Guitar. Admirably supported by Tom Hargreaves on drums, together they create the perfect symphony of sound for singer Teddy Quick to stake his claim as heir to the indie frontman throne. With a voice of a fallen angel, Teddy delivers each line like his and your life depended upon it.

Wreaking havoc on your heartstrings and tattooing itself on your consciousness, Teddy and the Rev78 boys of are ready to lay the ghost of lad-rock to rest and take their place in your record collection. Comparisons to the Killers, the Editors and U2 would be a compliment if they weren’t so right.
